Perishable product shrinkage is a complex problem to manage. In 2020, SMU S.A. (Unimarc, M10, Alvi, Ok Market y Super10) decided to work with Frogmi ® to reduce waste, improve its results and take care of the planet.
An AI model was implemented to alert expiration risk. Its results feed Frogmi’s Task Management at SKU-level solution, automatically sending tasks to manage products.
Thanks to work done in every store, SMU has reduced shrinkage by 17%. In addition, it has improved communication with stores and gained real-time visibility of management and results in BI dashboards.
